The Stanford Presidential Lectures and Symposia in the Humanities and Arts will bring several of the most distinguished scholars, artists, and critics of our time to the Stanford University campus for lectures, panel discussions, and a variety of related interactions with faculty and students. Funded by the President's Office, the programs will explore new roles and relationships for the Humanities and Arts in the academic community as we enter the 21st Century.
